Many Grenadier owners are looking at larger tyre and wheel options. One snag with this is that the rear door spare wheel carrier does not fit larger wheels.
Black Sheep have made a modified carrier to fix the issue. It is possible to mount a spare wheel with a diameter of up to 94cm (depending on the offset) on the rear and the rear doors can still be opened properly. The assembly takes place at the original mounting points. The carrier is made of 5mm stainless steel and powder-coated black so that it matches the vehicle’s appearance. The manufacturer notes “that the additional weight of the larger wheel can affect the lifespan of the tailgate hinges”
